Many of us have suffered trials and tribulations when it came to stepping on that scale but with the support of our fellow buddyslimmers…..the blow was lightened :D . For those of you that had a bad weigh in this week….Remember that the ups and downs are to be expected. The important thing is, that you pick yourself up…dust yourself off…and KICK SOME BUTT this week ;) For those that lost this week….NICE JOB!!!

Featuring Our Buddyslimmer Of The Week!

Jenn! - Jenn worked hard this week and it paid off!!! She Worked out 5 days this week with the elliptical PLUS did 3 days of strength training and 2 days of walking! She ended this week with a 2lbs loss :D NICE JOB JENN! Be sure to click on her picture and send her a congrats :) She worked hard for it! Remember to send me your stats next week so you can be up for our BuddySlimmer of The Week! ;)

Group/Challenge Weigh In Stats

The groups and challenges to me are the heart of buddyslim. Without them and the wonderful people that create them and participate in them we wouldn’t have near the support and motivation to carry on with our journey.Despite a bad week for some, these groups really powered through! Keep up the GREAT work you guys!!! Here are the weight loss stats from the groups that I could gather info from…..

Fitness Fanatics = -13lbs 500lbs Challenge = -61.9 for 2 teams combined

Rockstars = -21.7lbs

Wildcats = -35.2lbs

Fitness Survivor = -2.3lbs and -15.5 inches lost with still 1 to weigh in. We are now down to 11 players!

The Phoenix = -2.4lbs

Heartbreakers = -28lbs

That’s AWSOME!! Way to go you guys!!

Evangelist Tip

As a Personal Trainer…here’s a little tip from me to you :D

Adding weights to your walk? GREAT IDEA! You’ll burn more calories by adding resistance ;) Start by using 1-3lbs dumbells then add more when you’re comfortable. Avoid using ankle weights! When you use ankle weights for power walking or jogging…you increase the impact to your knees because there’s a harder impact when your foot hits the pavement. Stick with hand held dumbells and you’ll be fine :) Happy exercising all!!
